Advice from IR Approved Author Marlene Zaedyan: “What motivates me is Recognition and financial rewards.”

Three Silent Cries: Received a 4+ star review, making it an IndieReader Approved title.

Following find an interview with author Marlene Zaedyan:

  1. What is the name of the book and when was it published? THREE SILENT CRIES. Published in March 2026
  2. What’s the book’s first line? Three Battles One unheard scream at a time.
  3. What’s the book about? Give us the “pitch”. Three Silent Cries is a deeply moving collection that gives voice to those often overlooked. Each story—whether it’s Eliot’s escape from cruelty, a mother’s search in Afghanistan, or a love torn apart—carries quiet emotional weight.
  4. What inspired you to write the book? A particular person? An event? I wrote Three Silent Cries from a place of quiet unrest—moved by the pain people carry in silence and the stories the world often overlooks. Each piece came from emotions I couldn’t ignore: sorrow, empathy, and a need to give voice to what remains unheard. More than anything, I wanted readers to pause, feel, and truly see those who are too often invisible.
  1. What’s the main reason someone should really read this book? If someone ever wondered about the stories hidden behind silence, Three Silent Cries invites them to feel —deeply, honestly, and unforgettably.
  2. When did you first decide to become an author? Since my teens I have loved writing and reading .
  3. Is this the first book you’ve written? My first book was published in 2021. AN autobiography.
  4. Is there something in particular that motivates you (fame? fortune?) What motivates me is Recognition and financial rewards.
  5.  Would you go traditional if a publisher came calling? If so, why? Yes i would be motivated in case a traditional publisher approached me.
