BE YOUR SPIRIT is a readable, general, concise overview of some Buddhist and Hindu teachings on the ego and the spirit, with specific exercises designed to put the practitioner more in tune with his or her spiritual self. It does not do much more than to scratch the surface of these spiritual teachings, but it may be of benefit as an introduction for the beginner seeking to start a meditative practice, calm anxiety and other mood disorders, or to become more aware of his/her spiritual self.
