Welcome to the IndieReader “Discovery Awards” (IRDAs)—where undiscovered talent meets people with the power to make a difference. With the rush by traditional publishers to sign indies and their noteworthy bestselling status, there’s no longer much doubt that indie authors can be both commercially and creatively successful. All that was left to do was create a credible vehicle by which to find them. That’s where the IRDAs come in. What makes the IRDAs so unique is their extraordinary panel of judges, including top agents, people who work in traditional publishing, PR pro, bloggers and book reviewers–a virtual who’s who of some of the most important people in publishing today.
“…The IndieReader Discovery Awards…represents the best from the website’s reviewed books in a given year. With these great books on one list, you can quickly and easily find something worth reading from this new realm of publishing.”
Brandi Megan Granett

IMPORTANT: It is the author’s responsibility to make sure IndieReader has been sent the required number of books (3 copies) to be judged. If additional books are needed, they must be received before the cutoff, or your book will be disqualified. No refunds will be given for disqualified books.

Stand with the Best
STAND WITH THE BEST
The IR Discovery Awards gives you the opportunity to have your book judged in relation to work done by your peers.
There were over 391,000 books self-published in 2012. That’s a whole lot of company (and competition!) for any author. A professional book review will help set your title apart from the rest, increasing your book’s chance for discoverability.

If your title is IR Approved (4 or 5 stars), it will be included in IR’s Curation Services, which to date include Scribd, the ebook subscription service and Bibliolabs, the resource for libraries. IR also recommends indie titles to the HUFFINGTON POST and USA TODAY.
