The Doctor’s Perspective: A Look at Testosterone, Wellness and Performance explores the intricate relationship between hormones, metabolic health, and performance, offering an evidence-based analysis of these often-misunderstood topics. Written by a physician, this book delves into the science behind testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), anabolic steroids, and performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs), separating medical facts from myths and misinformation. It addresses critical men’s health issues such as hypogonadism, cardiac and prostate health, obesity, and the psychological effects of hormonal imbalances. The book also examines emerging compounds like selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) and nootropics, evaluating their benefits and risks. From the history of testosterone’s discovery to its modern medical applications, the author provides a thorough review of therapies and their implications. What inspired you to write the book? A particular person? An event?
I saw an opportunity to educate on topics such as PEDs and wellness where there are often gaps in knowledge. Many other physicians would also ask me questions about these topics.
What’s the main reason someone should really read this book?
It’s a great opportunity to learn about PEDs in a medical context and also cover topics such as TRT in a balanced evidence-based fashion.

Yes.
What do you do for work when you’re not writing?
Practicing medicine and Powerlifting competitively!
