What messages await you?

What inspired you to write the book? A particular person? An event?

As an Afterlife Expert, I have conducted Animal Communication sessions for over 22 years. Most of my clients were suffering deeply from the loss of a pet and they were overwhelmed with grief. Some were so deep in despair they contemplated or even attempted suicide. With their beloved pet gone, some had literally given up on life. Then this amazing thing happened. Once they heard the loving messages from their pets from the Other Side, there was an incredible transformation that occurred.

Almost immediately their pain subsided, the guilt dissolved and they were finally able to navigate through their grief into healing and find their smile again. One little message from their pet released them from the grips of grief and pulled them out of their sorrow and pain.

These life-changing moments made me realize how departed pets could heal their human guardians. Once they realized that the pet they loved and missed with still with them they were able to find their smile again.

Hearing the healing messages from the Other Side is a true testament that you are and always have been the most important person in the world to your pets and even after death, there is nowhere else in the world that they would rather be than with you.

What’s the main reason someone should really read this book?

While there is no cure for grief this book can help the reader understand what happens when their pet dies, relieve their worry, sorrow, and guilt, and help them move through their grief into healing.

If they made your book into a movie, who would you like to see play the main character(s)?

Helen Hunt as me!

When did you first decide to become an author?

I felt an internal drive kick in about 10 years ago when I wrote my first book, ‘Hear All Creatures’. I felt I had to share this incredible journey into Animal Communication with others who love and adore their pets.

Is this the first you’ve written?

No, my first book was published in 2008 Hear All Creatures and is on the Amazon bestseller list.

What do you do for work when you’re not writing?

I coach Animal Communication Courses to those who want to awaken their intuitive abilities, I conduct private Animal Communication and Afterlife sessions and I’m also writing my next manuscript.

How much time do you generally spend on your writing?

It happens in chunks of time when I feel inspired to write. Usually first thing in the morning, I devote about an hour or two to writing.

What’s the best and the hardest part of being an indie?

Grappling with the editing/publishing aspect, marketing, and sales. Getting the word out about my message and my books is a full-time job!

What’s a great piece of advice that you can share with fellow indie authors?

Write about what readers want, not necessarily what you want. Solve a problem for your readers and they will become your biggest fans

Would you go traditional if a publisher came calling?  If so, why?

That depends on many things. I guess it comes down to what they offer. I am always open to finding more ways to get my book out into the world.

Is there something in particular that motivates you?

The amount of healing I have brought to so many who are struggling with a loss.

Which writer, living or dead, do you most admire?

Annie Kagan – The Afterlife of Billy Fingers.

Which book do you wish you could have written?

The Afterlife of Billy Fingers, of course!
