Who could resist a smorgasbord of crime, intrigue, love, and deceit? Based on facts about a 1,400-mile overhead U.S. pipeline constructed during World War II, Kimberly Fish’s THE BIG INCH is a fictionalized account features Lane Mercer who doubts her capabilities for spycraft, romance, secretarial work, and, in general, outwitting any and all villains in Longview, Texas. Her Resistance experience coupled with the goings-on down South, though, prove her wrong. A definite page-turner for those interested in any of the mentioned genres.
