RELAY by Roy Lieberman is a charming and beautifully illustrated story of a child who tells an imaginative tale to his brother and father about what happened to a lost set of car keys. The descriptive narration takes young readers on a journey that includes flying machines, cranes, trucks, cables, a forklift and other gizmos that little boys especially enjoy–complete with large and colorful drawings. Adults will enjoy the subtle humor of the plot–especially if they often mislay their car keys.
