Drawing inspiration from cultural theorists such as Lauren Berlant, Jürgen Habermas, and Misha Kavka, REFLECTIONS OF INTIMACY is a vulnerable and incisive meditation on the layers and variations of intimate relationships. Artist Jewel Mensah traces tendrils of affective interconnections throughout a series of vignettes, blending striking black & white photography with broad-ranging discourse, that merges the sensual and the theoretical to illuminate the transformative potential of intimacy in our private and public lives.
