NEED TO WANT

Following the lives of a small post-catastrophe group living a simplistic existence during the end times of the human race, NEED TO WANT is, in some senses, a slightly bleak post-dystopian tale of island survival, and in others an examination of human psychology and our core will to go on. In it, Sava Buncic portrays, at first, a young and structured family living under a ‘Matron’, and hooked on faded memories and daily ritual. The story has an explosive and unpredictable close, but by and large is a more serene text with philosophical and thought-provoking undertones.
