Reading Erich Kirchmann’s second book about his travels in France, IT STARTS WITH BONJOUR, is like having a warm conversation with a friend. Kirchmann shares his latest adventure (with his wife) to France, Gascony, and the Côte D’Azur via anecdotes about the people they meet, scrapes they get into and must figure a way out of, and the food!  Kirchmann is an affable traveler, curious and interested in his surroundings.
