IR VERDICT:
MOON DEEDS, the first installment of Palmer Pickering’s Star Children Saga is a terrific science fiction tale with hints of magic woven into it. Twins Torr and Cassidy flee a war-torn earth for a refugee camp on the moon. They carry an inheritance of local land deeds, but it’s their connection to magic that triggers interest by competing factions and puts them into greater danger. A well-plotted page turner with terrific characters.
