IR VERDICT:
Genuine and heartbreaking, CHUCKY’S IN TUCSON, will leave readers grateful for the presence of every guiding influence they’ve encountered in their life, as well as inspire them to discover their own true passions. The story is shocking in its brutally honest depiction of life for children and young adults with disabilities. Ultimately, though, the memoir is uplifting in its reminder that unsung heroes like Brant Vickers are, thankfully, not as rare as one might think.
