IR VERDICT:
Illustrator Bob George’s colorful pictures enhance the text of author Ron H. Rader’s descriptively written DANIEL MEETS THE SPIRIT OF THE BEAR in a sweet and playful way. The hope of the story is to teach children valuable life lessons in a way that takes kid’s imaginations along for the ride. The overpowering and spiritually religious message may be above the heads of small children, but it makes for a philosophical discussion for older kids and their parents.
