IR VERDICT:
HEAVY LIES by McEntry R. Dunbar is the second book of a series that offers an attempt at intrigue, suspicion, and deceit, woven into a descriptive business scenario. The slow-moving melodramatic plot of this title relies on the author’s first book (Days Passed) to set up the relationships between the main players and as such it may take a while for readers to become engaged and invested. Still, HEAVY LIES has its share of twists and turns that may satisfy lovers of suspense fiction.
