IR VERDICT:
Beautifully illustrated (by Jo Edwards) with colorful big-eyed characters, ALL FAMILIES INVITED by Kathleen Goodman describes eight-year-old Annabel, who wants the school’s father-daughter dance to be a family fall festival and her ultimately successful attempts to change the mind of her school principal. Though a bit unrealistic, this 32-page book might encourage adults to address the subjects of inclusiveness and proper protocols for requesting change.
