The Edge of Never is the first installment in a duo of contemporary romance novels by J.A. Redmerski’s. First published through CreateSpace in 2012, the book was picked up by Hatchette romance imprint Forever in 2013.
But first, the story. The Edge of Never follows a 20-year-old named Camryn Bennett who leaves her life in Raleigh, North Carolina for a road trip with only her purse and cell phone in tow. Setting out on a Greyhound bus, Camryn finds the alluring Andrew Parrish.
And so begins a “daring, passionate love affair.” Andrew definitely gives Camryn the exciting new life she was looking for and becomes its primary focus, but their romance is tainted by a secret. In the book’s follow up, Edge of Always, their relationship takes an unexpected turn.
Redmerski, a mother of three from Arkansas, isn’t just a romance writer. She also released Book One (an indie) of a suspense series called In the Company of Killers, beginning with Killing Sarai.
Back when she was exclusively self-published, Redmerski designed the cover of The Edge of Never herself. But when she was picked up by Forever, they gave it a new look, mostly streamlining its text. The overall design has pretty much stayed the same.
