Tara Platt’s PREP SCHOOL FOR SERIAL KILLERS draws on a fantastic (albeit macabre) premise, where – in a dystopian future – certain children who score highly on a measure of psychopathy are enrolled in a school that will train them to become assassins. Beyond the interesting premise of the book, it is also very well written; the dual perspectives of the central protagonist and the author of a journal found by the protagonist are especially well executed.
