Luke Hindmarsh imbues COLD SLEEP with a classic cyberpunk feel, in its sci fi future full of people from diverse backgrounds. But it’s also a horror story in a classic setting for the genre: on board a spaceship with no way out as something stalks the crew. With a balancing act of these and the heist genre as well, Hindmarsh keeps the story moving at an endless pace, except for the end itself, a rather bleak one again reminiscent of some of sci-fi horror’s best.
