PHARONI is told in a first-person memoir-like narrative from the perspective of a screenwriter about his group of friends and how their lives change after the death and resurrection of someone they are close to. Author Colin’s Dodds does an excellent job of exploring the fragile humanity of the characters as the book explores the theme of greed, corruption, power, addiction, friendship and opportunism.
