What is the name of the book and when was it published?

What’s the book’s first line? 
The first time I did crystal methamphetamine I was nineteen, sitting in the backseat of Jake’s silver 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with my girlfriend, Leah, beside me.

What’s the book about? Give us the “pitch”. 

In 1996, Scott was nineteen and lost in adulthood with an endless job and no future ambitions. Teenage Degenerate is his story about drug addiction, music and growing up. Over the course of ten months, he quickly descends into the dark and dangerous world of crystal methamphetamine.

What inspired you to write the book? A particular person? An event?
I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could write and complete a book.

What’s the main reason someone should really read this book?
The is a excellent read for anyone who wants insight on drug addiction, or people who are struggling with drug addiction or know someone who is, or people who enjoy memoirs or biographies.

Is this the first you’ve written?
No, but it is the first piece I have published.

What do you do for work when you’re not writing?
Web Designer.

How much time do you generally spend on your writing?
I usually write 4 to 5 times a week and 2 to 3 hours each day. I feel if I don’t write frequently I become rusty.
