What’s the book about ? Give us the “pitch”.
In this second tome, the readers follow the adventures of Tali Nohkati and his family. Just when he thinks that he has finally found peace with the Coruba clan, the forces of nature are unleashed. As he always has, he faces his destiny with strength and courage. The tragic event that he faces with his family has repercussions on the destiny of the whole clan.
What inspired you to write the book? A particular person? An event?
I have always been interested in the History of the First Peoples. However, it was reading the book of Forrest Carter Cry, Geronimo that started it all and this is how the idea of a small character living multiple adventures in an unknown world was born.
What’s the main reason someone should really read this book?
The story of Tali Nohkati is an invitation to travel. It takes the reader by hand, leads him on the paths of a forgotten world and the delicious shores of childhood cradled in myths and legends.
What’s the most distinctive thing about the main character? Who real or fictional would you say the character reminds you of?
Tali’s wisdom and resilience are outstanding. He fights when necessary. He gives up when it is needed.
Tali Nohkati is like the great figures of History and the anonymous heroes of everyday life who, in one way or another, mark our lives.
When did you first decide to become an author?
When I was a teenager.
Is this the first book you’ve written?
No, I wrote several books before.
What do you do for work when you’re not writing?
I used to work in TV music publishing.
How much time do you generally spend on your writing?
Two to three hours per day.
What’s the best and the hardest part of being an indie?
I have always been published, In my opinion, the best is the freedom that this line of work provides. The hardest is not knowing if you will be read.
What’s a great piece of advice that you can share with fellow indie authors?
Always believe in yourself.
Is there something in particular that motivates you (fame? fortune?)
I had never lived off the selling of my books. The whole time, the pleasure of writing is what has carried me.

Jean Marie Gustave Le Clesio, John Steinbeck and Jack London.
Which book do you wish you could have written?
Perfume by Patrick Süskind.
