What inspired you to write the book? A particular person? An event?
This novel is my bow, my curtsy, my waltz, to freedom of speech.

To salute the avant-garde, noble writers and journalists who risk their reputations to transform our world. Isn’t it time we stop feeding our sensitive egos and let the work of love permeate our communities across the globe?

Dunya is a testament to our ability to transcend dogma without harboring grudges for those who embrace it. She reminds me of any woman in the world who, though provocative and controversial, can continue to cherish and live amongst members of her society even after having risen above their antiquated thought matrices.
When did you first decide to become an author?
In 2014, after a beloved left our planet. I understood life’s transience and grasped that the temporal realm is an illusion.
