What’s the book about? Give us the “pitch”.

First of all, the book is a tribute to the artist, a Royal Canadian Academy Artist by the name of Winchell Price.  It is a biography; a story of Canadian cultural life as it unfolds through the career and life of this distinguished artist.

What inspired you to write the book? A particular person? An event?

My involvement in this project came about when it occurred to me, that after knowing Winchell Price for nearly fifty years, his was a story that had to be told, and I had the documentary sources and recollections to realize the project.

What’s the main reason someone should really read this book?
