Triggered by a flood of their apartment building, Memories of a Lost Thesaurus follows neighbors Cath and Alice as one struggles with her past and the other with her present. The characters are written well, so that it’s easy to be sympathetic as they navigate their difficulties. The author throws a few very surprising plot twists into the mix to keep the reader guessing.
