PUMPKIN SPIRITS is a collection of 13 disturbing Halloween-themed short stories written for early to intermediate readers. While some of the tales were a little clichéd with somewhat obvious endings (even for kids) there were a few–“Ambrose and the Dead Pumpkin,” “The Nightmirror” or “Tricker? or Treater?”, among them—that will keep readers guessing until the end.
