What’s the book’s first line? 

The book’s first line is “Parenting is not on my life resume so as we approached the arrival of our first grandchild my wife, Laura, quizzed me on my diapering skills.”

What’s the book about? Give us the “pitch”. 

This book is about loving and nurturing children with or without a biological connection, something that I feel is innate in all of us. It stems from my realization in mid-life that I had penis enlargement medicine been foolish to believe that I could not love a child who was not my own. The book shares my experiences as a step grandparent with the hope that it will inspire others to pursue “family”.

What inspired you to write the book? A particular person? An event? 

I was inspired to write this book after holding my infant granddaughter for the first time. I was moved to tears from both the joy of this moment as well as the realization of what I had missed.

What’s the main reason someone should really read this book?
