S.P. Cervantes on “Wished Away”

IR Sticker IR ApprovedWhat is the name of the book and when was it published?

Wished Away: A Broken Fairy Tale 2 was published August 3, 2014

What’s the book’s first line?

“I am standing on the other side of the wall and can hear my aunt and uncle whispering about what to do with me now that my mom and dad are dead.”

What’s the book about? Give us the “pitch”.

Wished Away is about a spunky woman named Jess who has it all.  A loving husband, a happy and healthy little girl, and a close group of friends that she’s had since she was a little girl.  When tragedy strikes, turning her life upside down, Jess struggles to find happiness and learn to love again.

What inspired you to write the book? A particular person? An event?

This book is the second stand-alone novel in the A Broken Fairy Tale series.  Once I finished the first book, Dust to Dust, many of my readers begged for a book about Jess and Dave.  It’s the most emotionally charged book I’ve ever written, but one I am very proud of.

What’s the main reason someone should really read this book?

Wished Away is an easy read that will leave you wishing you had friends like Jess, and help you find the rainbows and butterflies in life.
