Between nipple clamps and a scandalous scene with a writing implement, Training Tessa is a wild ride that can be devoured in one sitting.

Tessa has lost her job in Michigan and struggles to find a quick solution to pay her part of her ailing mother’s nursing home bill. She and her siblings take care of their mom and she refuses to let her end of it slip through the cracks. Tessa decides to move to Texas where jobs are a bit more plentiful. As she applies for a position titled “Receptionist Plus” she has no idea how much of a plus she will need to perform. Not only is she intimidated by her potential boss Mason Maddox as he glares at her sternly across the desk, she wonders if it would be worth it to work for him…but the pay is really high, so she endures.

In walks Dixon Maddox, the softer of the two brothers when it comes to personality, and harder in all other areas. He is extremely easy on the eyes to boot. As Tessa interviews with each man, she realizes she is in for a dose of sibling rivalry, but is puzzled by the thick contract she is given to sign. Desperate for a solution to the bills that are piling up, she signs in haste and accepts the job. The more time she spends with the brothers, the more she wishes she had read that contract…or does she? In fact she may be starting to enjoy the “punishments” that the brothers give her for errors in her work.

Chock full of interesting ways that Mason and Dixon define the “Plus” in her job title, Tessa decides it may be worth the punishment to earn the pay. She also realizes she likes it. When feelings that are more than just sexual develop between Tessa and Dixon, neither one of them knows what will happen, but they both know they want more.

Sinclair develops a storyline that leaves readers wanting more as well. Hot and steamy, this is one read you may want to save for bedtime. Characters are distinctly modeled; each in their own way and despite the similarity to other recent books that involve BDSM, and punishment for misdeeds, this one does have some originality. Between nipple clamps and a scandalous scene with a writing implement, Training Tessa is a wild ride that can be devoured in one sitting.
