Screams from a nearby apartment interrupt him and upon further investigation he finds a 13 year-old girl with a bloody hammer, standing over a dead body. The widow of one of his murdered partners show up and threatens to kill Rydell if he doesn’t help her catch the man responsible for her husband’s death, whose identity she claims to know.
While the story initially seems promising, the editing–which appears non-existent–is not. On almost every page there are misspelled words, missing punctuation and repetitive conversation, resulting in the necessity of re-reading paragraphs and sentences in an effort to follow the plot.
