A wealthy and socially prominent family reunites in the wake of a father’s aneurysm, and all hell breaks loose as a brother and sister uncover a wealth of secrets about their father’s past.

A Very Rich Man is tightly wound and economically written, with great attention to detail.  Part of the intrigue involves business corruption, a subject particularly relevant to the post-Madoff world.
