Proving once and for all that the best way for an author to get picked up by a major trad publisher is to first get picked up by thousands of enthusiastic readers, IR’s List Where Indies Count regular and New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover has done it again.
Hoover just sold the rights (both print and e) to her two latest New Adult romances, titled MAYBE SOMEDAY and UGLY LOVE, about an intense relationship carried on via text messaging, to Atria (who, we reported earlier today, also scored two titles by indie K.A. Anderson).
Added Hoover about her NA novel, HOPELESS, “it is indie and will remain that way forever. “
