10 Great Indie Titles for Your Brand-Spanking New E-Reader

Perhaps, you had a dilemma this year (or, in my case, last year) about which format you prefer to read from. Are you a purist who prefers paper?  Or are you game for a back-lit screen that looks like newsprint, minus the smutty hands that need to be washed when you put it down?  Or maybe you like both screen and scroll and couldn’t decide, so Santa surprised you with a bevy of electronic nooks and crannies to stash all your stories in?

I’ve had my treasured Nook since last Christmas, and love its glowing little face that shines without glare, and keeps me company into the city and off to dreamland. My guy has an iPad and reads magazines that pop with bold color and brilliant graphics that look even better than an actual glossy page. Many friends of mine sport Kindles in all their forms: Fire, HD… quite a few have both of these: a deluxe new model and a basic original and utilize them equally.  Now that you’ve been gifted with a proper reading device, the time has come to fill it up!

Looking for a thrilling read that will keep you awake on the commute in to work?
