What is the name of the book and when was it published?

“Mirror Talk.” June 14, 2010.

In television, the segment a program anchor introduces before it is played is called a “roll-in.”

What is the book about?

The book is about growing up, and growing older, working in theater, and a passion for writing.

What inspired you to write the book?

The writing of the late Irish journalist Nuala O’Faolain inspired me. Her memoirs “Are You Somebody” and “Almost There” are totally without pretense, and filled with resilient humor.

What’s the most distinctive thing about the main character?

Holding on to humor in situations that are often anything but funny.

What’s the main reason someone should really read the book?
