Author of the scandalous novel, ”Flipping”, Mary has had record sales numbers since her early summer release including the most sales for an Ingram/Lightning Source book in a week.

IR: What inspired you to write a ‘Chick Lit’ book on the topic of mortgages?

ME: I admire women whose confidence enables them to venture out, beyond the traditional female roles. In terms of fiction, the deck being stacked against them makes for great tension. How could a writer pass up all that great pathos?

IR: What do you think your readers like best about this book?

ME: Readers enjoy a spicy summer read while discovering the causes of the foreclose crisis from an insider prospective

IR: Wow! Who says ‘Chick Lit’ can’t be both sexy AND brainy! Do you think there should be more books in the genre that incorporate business and stereotypically male dominated topics into the plot?

ME: If art imitates life, I suspect this will occur naturally.

IR: Are you planning on writing another book soon? 

ME: I can’t give away any details, but another book is on the horizon…

IR: Will it be a sequel or related to real estate in anyway?

ME: Writing Fay Famaghetti was great fun for me and certainly her character is too juicy and dynamic to let a little indictment keep her down…
