Bella Andre Goes Both Ways

In yet another iteration of traditional publishers making nice with indies, New York Times best selling author Bella Andre has sold Harlequin the English language print rights to the first eight books in her Sullivan series (“Let Me Be the One“, book 6, has been on IR’s bestseller list for several weeks) in a (gulp) seven figure advance with a percentage of royalties thereafter.

Andre told IR that, “Publishing with Harlequin is a dream come true.  Harlequin is romance, and their experience, enthusiasm and global reach will allow me to bring my beloved Sullivan family to a whole new group of readers. When I considered publishing my ebooks in print format, Harlequin was naturally my first choice. I am beyond thrilled.”

Harlequin will not be selling Andre’s ebooks, audiobooks or foreign language editions because (smart girl) she’s retained those rights.
