Jarvis Sloan is President of LifeSolutions, devoted to improving family life and sexual relations. Following the advice of a colleague and his extra-marital affair partner; he creates TimeDonors, a spin-off company that aims to more directly help failing marriages by using a new kind of server that leaves no electronic trail and all sexual hook ups between people stay anonymous.
Unhappily married artist Laura Dees and her artist friend Sue Wong turn to TimeDonors for extra marital comfort and tenderness. In the meantime, Willie Weeks and Ben Kinney are two cops trying to figure out who is behind the assassination-type murders of single men in the area.
Ex-military man and first-time author, Russell Scott masterfully weaves an intriguing and seductive story. Scott’s characters are well developed and highly palpable. Despite the need for some proofreading, Scott’s writing is tight and crisp. Scott transitions smoothly and effectively from one aspect of the plot to the other, from one character’s perspective to the next, creating a fast moving story that holds the reader’s attention.
