Yes, the coverage of Charlie Sheen has reached ad nauseum proportions, but we’d be neglect in our indie book reporting duties if we didn’t mention that he self-published a book of poetry in 1999, which includes a poem called “On the Edge of Forever”.

It reads in part: “Is it safe? Do you know? This path you have chose, / Or has all of your in- stinct gone straight up your nose? / Is it black, is it white, / Can you tell from your cave? / Or a flash in the night, / Of your own hollow grave?”.
