The Rands Conspiracy

By Jon Batson

IR Rating:
2.0
The author is good at little bits of characterization, but along with numerous copy editing mistakes, the plot was mediocre.
A mild-mannered office worker has a job that involves secret information. He escapes the slaughter of his co-workers and must both evade the killers and uncover the conspiracy.

While on the run, our hero spends a large part of the book tracking down his fellow endangered co-workers, finding them already dead or watching them get killed. It tends to get a bit repetitive and overall the story is slow and uninteresting.

The author is good at little bits of characterization, but along with numerous copy editing mistakes, the plot was mediocre and the narrative voice sometimes dipped too far into the colloquial.
